About this job
GENERAL DUTIES:
- Maintain and clean hallways and restrooms. Remove garbage and linen form hallways and rooms. Fulfill guest and room attendant requests.
- Fulfill guest requests such as additional towels, amenities, etc.
- Report room deficiencies such as electrical, mechanical or room maintenance issues to AYS (At Your Service).
- Maintain a neat and orderly housekeeping bin up to departmental standards. Must be able to clean bathrooms.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to kneel, bend, stoop, walk, and stand up to 8 hours per shift.
- Must be able to reach, and lift up to 15 lbs. Must be able to push cart of approximately 50 lbs.
- Good vision with ability to see work assignment page, and ability to see imperfections such as hair on sheets, drains, carpet, etc.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to understand job duties and work assignments. Must be able to properly greet a guest and make a positive impression.
- Able to work flexible schedule, varied shifts and days, including holidays and weekends.
- Any duties as assigned by Director of Services or Housekeeping Managers or supervisors.
