As a Sales Manager, you will play a vital role in the team’s success by managing the store’s sales and marketing function. Job Duties

  • Manage the overall sales functions of the store—inside & outside sales
  • Drive sales by building authentic customer relationships
  • Set and achieve weekly and monthly sales goals
  • Generate new business by developing and implementing community marketing strategies
  • Confirm customer identification, collect money and obtain customer signatures on lease agreements
  • Review and close lease agreements as directed by the store manager

 
Store Operations

  • Assist store manager with inventory regularly
  • Manage routine service calls and product exchanges
  • Assist store manager with product ordering, including planning for future sales, events & stock balancing

 
Customer Care and Satisfaction

  • Ensure execution of Aaron’s customer service program
  • Provide outstanding service and promptly resolve customer concerns
  • Assist in product staging in preparation for delivery
  • Keep the showroom floor well merchandised
  • Ensure the store’s warehouse is neat and orderly
  • Monitor and ensure efficient operation of the cleaning station in the warehouse

 
Personal Attributes

  • Two years of sales experience or two years of supervisory experience
  • Good communication and interpersonal relationship skills
  • Position routinely requires lifting & loading up to 50 lbs. without help and up to 300 lbs. with a dolly
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Good organizational skills
  • Maintain professional appearance
  • Strong telephone manners

The Sales Manager receives an hourly rate plus commissions/performance incentives which should result in a 1st year of $30,000 - $35,000 or higher. Commissions are not capped so income is directly related to marketing and selling ability. When you grow the store substantially, your income will grow substantially.
