Room Inspector                                                Full Time                              AM Hours Including Weekends & Holidays

Position Summary:

The room inspector is responsible for completing written inspections on guest rooms after being cleaned by a Housekeeper to ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. This is done to ensure a clean and well maintained product is presented to every guest. The room inspector will also be responsible to identify training opportunities and tracking the scores of the inspections weekly.

Experience:

• Previous hotel housekeeping experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience in a guest contact position a plus

Skills:

• Ability to effectively communicate in English using clear and professional language.
• Communicate and problem solve for internal and external guest issues/concerns
• Ability to coach and train fellow associates
• Must be reliable; willing to work weekends and holidays
• Must be a self-starter

Physical Job Requirements:

• Constant walking up to 8 hours in one shift
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
