JOB TITLE: Banquet Server
REPORTS TO: Banquet Manager
PURPOSE OF POSITION: To prepare tables, serve and clean for banquet functions.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Pushing cart weighing approximately 60 lbs., setting tables, wiping silverware prior to function, serving food, carrying trays and chafing dishes of approximately 20 lbs. each, ten to 15 times per shift. May involve helping plate the food. Fold napkins, make coffee, clean dishes from table onto trays (approximately 30 lbs. each ten times), pour water, move tables and chairs. Soiled linen will need to be carried back to laundry area. Complying with guests’ needs.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: Basic English necessary. Waitperson experience helpful.
JOB LOCATION: Ballroom, meeting rooms, lounge and kitchen areas.
EQUIPMENT USED: Serving carts, chafing dishes, sternos, glassware, dishes, silverware, tables and chairs.
