Forklift Operator - Full-time / Part-time

Job Description:

Working in a warehouse environment processing orders and move boxes of files, books, binders, backup tapes and other materials. The work is very physical requiring the manual lifting, carrying, and moving/arranging of boxes while standing, stooping, crawling, kneeling and twisting.

Schedule, Monday - Friday; 8:00am - 5:00pm, (hour lunch break).

Job Duties:

Employees must be able to lift and carry boxes ranging in weight from 10-40lbs on a regular basis.

Employees must be able to load and safely operate hand trucks and pallet jacks for transporting materials.

Steel Toe shoes are required for this role.

Use the proprietary computer system to track orders and determine the location of boxes and operate hand held scanner.

There are currently (3) openings and the right candidate will be responsible for taking the boxes off of the shelves and loading trucks for the move, (no driving required).

The individual should be able to support a team of 6 people moving roughly 1,200 - 1,300 boxes per day. The project will last for 80-90 days.

Required Experience:

Electric Pallet Jack operation, or Manual Pallet moving experience.

Fork-lift driving Certification necessary.

Manual Labor, lifting max of 35/40 lbs.

Strong ability to analyze logistics in regards to moving boxes.
