House Attendant at Fairfield Inn & Suites

We have an immediate opening for a House Attendant at Fairfield Inn & Suites.

Must be able to work various shifts per week.

House Attendant

As a House Attendant, your responsibilities will include:

• Ensure cleanliness of public areas including all guest room hallways, elevators, public areas and service corridors in accordance with hotel standards
• Inventory and maintain the cleanliness of the linen closets
• Remove trash and take to appropriate area for pick up
• Assist Room Attendants with the removal of trash, soiled linen, moving of furniture, etc.
• Ensure guest room supplies are properly stocked in linen closets.
• Utilize the proper cleaning methods to prevent injury.
• Deliver and pick up guest requested items including rollaway beds, cribs, irons and ironing boards
• Project an image of professionalism, friendliness and willingness to provide personalized service to our guests
• Report deficiencies in guest rooms and on guest floors to the housekeeping management team
• Adhere to the hotel’s lost and found policies and procedures

Position Requirements

• Experience working in upscale hotel environment that provides a superior level of guest service with professionalism and discretion
• Excellent attention to detail
• Must possess the ability to handle multiple tasks
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to effectively communicate with department managers, team members and guests
• Must possess a strong team spirit

Physical Demands

During the majority of the shift, must be able to:

• Perform repetitive hand and arm movements
• Ability to lift, pull, push up to 70 pounds
• Must be able to squat, bend, kneel and twist
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds
