As an Assistant Manager for UNO, you will be assisting the General Manager and Assistant General Manager in all aspects of the operation of a full service casual dining restaurant, with uncompromising commitment to the excellence of our food quality and exceptional care of our guests and staff. We will continually strive to provide “Best in Class” service and true hospitality for our guests.

In 1943 Ike Sewell opened Pizzeria Uno, the first Pizzeria in the United States, and invented our legendary Original Chicago Deep Dish Pizza. Today we are UNO, reflecting our expanded menu, featuring Steaks, Pasta, Chicken, Seafood, Salads, Sandwiches, Burgers, Kids Menu and more. Our restaurants also feature an extensive bar with many UNO specialties.

Our Assistant Managers are responsible for all functions of the restaurant, including opening, mid or closing shifts. Guest relations, management and supervision and scheduling of all staff and staffing levels, ordering of food, supplies and beverages, quality of food and beverages, housekeeping and the overall well being of the restaurant will be the responsibility of all of our Managers.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

As an Assistant Manager for UNO Chicago Grill, you will be expected to have:

  • A minimum of a High School Degree.
  • A proven record of success in a high volume full service casual dining environment.
  • A minimum of one year of management experience in a full service casual dining environment.
  • Responsible for 40+ employees.
  • Experience in a restaurant with a full service bar.
